From the Skye Bridge follow the A87 as far as Sligachan, then take the A863 towards Dunvegan. At Roskhill turn left towards Roag along a single track road which shortly crosses a narrow bridge over Abhainn an Lòin Mhòir. After about 1 mile take a left turn signed Ardroag. Taigh Uilleim is immediately on the left after the turn. Taigh Uilleim is about 1 hour’s drive from the bridge.

Note that this route bypasses Portree where you might like to stop to take advantage of the Coop supermarket.

For the quickest route to Taigh Uilleim from Portree follow the A87 towards Uig. After Borve take the A850 towards Dunvegan. Just before you reach Dunvegan take the single track road signed Sligachan to join the A863, just before a right turn to Roag. Taigh Uilleim is about 35 minutes drive from Portree.
